January

Day of Recollection: Nashville, TN

Fr. Gregory and Fr. Patrick started the new year off with a Day of Recollection entitled, New Year, New You: A Day of Recollection on Commitment and Conversion. Fr. Patrick gave a conference entitled, “Who Does God Say You Are?”, while Fr. Gregory’s talk was entitled, “Giving Up in the New Year”. Over 200 attended the event!

Young Adult Retreat: Dallas, TX

Over 80 young adults from the Diocese of Dallas and across the United States joined the hosts of the Godsplaining podcast March 21-23 at the St. Raphael Retreat Center in Texas for the first Dallas-based Godsplaining Young Adult Retreat.

All Comer’s Retreat: Providence, RI

Our retreat at Providence College was truly a gift! Fr. Gregory, Fr. Patrick, Fr. Joseph-Anthony, and Fr. Bonaventure led a beautiful weekend of prayer, sacraments, spiritual talks, and fellowship. Held in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island, the retreat brought together men and women for a powerful time of spiritual renewal and joyful community centered on God, our Father. It was, without a doubt, one of our best retreats yet!

Jubilee of Youth: Rome, Italy

The Godsplaining Jubilee of Youth Pilgrimage to Italy was a grace-filled success!

Pilgrims journeyed through Rome with Fr. Gregory, Fr. Joseph-Anthony, and Fr. Patrick, diving into a week full of prayer, laughter, and deep conversations. A few top moments included events with Archbishop Anthony Fisher of Sydney, attending the Jubilee of Digital Missionaries and Catholic Influencers, the friars’ conference on Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati at Santa Maria sopra Minerva, a reflective retreat in the ancient Basilica of San Clemente, and a high-energy U.S. Pilgrim Gathering at St. Paul Outside the Walls.

August

Day of Recollection: Tulsa, OK

Fr. Gregory, Fr. Patrick, and Fr. Joseph-Anthony headed to Tulsa, OK, where about 180 people filled the Cathedral for a Day of Recollection marked by powerful conferences, a live podcast recording, and an 80-minute Q&A, all capped off with a barbecue and croquet tournament. Sunday concluded with Mass at the Cathedral, where over 40 people were enrolled in the Rosary Confraternity, a fitting end to a weekend that blended deep prayer with vibrant community!

Day of Recollection: Front Royal, VA

Christendom College in Front Royal, VA welcomed Fr. Gregory and Fr. Bonaventure for a Day of Recollection entitled, “Annunciation: Vantages on the Incarnation.” Nearly 200 were in attendance for a day of thoughtful talks, podcast recordings, Mass, and more, ending in a Holy Hour.
